About the artist
Hi, I’m Kirsten
Raised by two fine artists and art educators, I was taught from a young age to observe and find inspiration in the world’s quietest moments. After intensive daily studio training and a career in elementary education, I’ve returned to the studio — with over 7,500 hours of technical experience — to share these small-scale original works.
Every order is handled with a teacher’s attention to detail, using archival papers, professional Conte crayons, and high-clarity Sumi inks.

What exactly is miniature art?
Miniature art is original fine art created at a small scale — typically a few inches on each side. It’s real, hand-created painting and drawing, just sized for shelves, desks, nooks, and small walls instead of large open walls. My miniature works are painted and drawn from direct observation of nature.
Are these original paintings or prints?
Both are available. Originals are one-of-a-kind, hand-painted or hand-drawn pieces on archival paper. Fine art prints are high-quality reproductions of those originals at an accessible price. Each listing clearly says which it is.
How do I buy a piece?
All purchases go through my Etsy shop, Mini Moss Art Gallery on Etsy, which handles secure payment and tracked shipping. Every order is packed in high-quality protective materials for safe arrival.
Do miniature paintings make good gifts?
